We're back on the internet. We've been having speed problems and then yesterday it didn't work at all. Comcast sent a guy out today and it turns out that it was an old splitter that they don't even use anymore. So he replaced that and some old wire and now we're faster than ever! So maybe I'll post more this week.
Anyway... Jordy makes CD mixes for us to listen to in the car. I think she tries to introduce us to as many artists & types of music as she can. I have discovered lots of new artists & songs this way. There's one CD that's my favorite and when we put it in the car on Sunday morning we're pretty close to the same Josh Turner song every time we get to Margie's. And she says something about this one every week. Of course, she can't remember his name but she makes a comment every time one of his songs comes on -- "Oh, that's the guy that sings so low." If you haven't heard him before take a listen to the video above. I'm still amazed when I hear that voice coming out of that mouth. :-) And I just learned today that he grew up singing in church choir and was in a quartet! I'll have to see if I can find a video of that for my dad.
Happy Sunday!

Wow, what a voice. I hadn't heard of Josh before. Thank you.
I tell SE I need a baritone guitar so I can play the riffs at 2:15 and 2:21.
I love, love, LOVE Josh Turner. :) I have 3 of his CD's, or maybe 4. (I THINK I have all that are out, lol.) I don't have high-speed, so I don't know what song you posted, but they're all good. ;D
