Christmas Notebooks/Albums

I realized I haven't been posting many crafty pictures lately.   I have been squeezing in a few things here & there but summer has moved us out of our routine and we've just been all over the place!  I showed you some of the Bingo card journals that I made for our graduating friends.  Well, when I started thinking about what to put in my Etsy shop for Christmas in July I thought about those & how they reminded me of that little booklet that our mom used to make before Christmas and keep hidden in her purse.  I started doing that when I had kids.  I either make or buy a little notebook and have a page for each person or group of people that I need to buy or make gifts for.  I write down ideas for gifts, sizes, the colors they like, what I buy, where I hid it, etc.  So, I made a Bingo card notebook for me & made a few others to put in my Etsy shop.

These can help you keep up with your Christmas shopping or can be photo albums or journals.

The one above is my favorite.  I remember Momma writing in big, black letters on the front of her homemade book - "DO NOT PEEK".  She might have even written "or you won't be getting any presents"  I don't exactly remember that part.  I wonder who was peeking?  Jeff, probably.

These and a couple of others can now be found in my Etsy shop, where I'm celebrating Christmas in July!

I don't think Grandma ever wrote down where she had hidden the gifts. This may explain why some gifts weren't delivered until well into the next year!

hahahahah!!!! I was sitting there & said, "I bet you still have all those, too, don't you?" Yep! Go see them on my Flickr account!!! She had every book since 1990, which is when they moved into this house! I was going to blog the photos, but Blogger's not letting me add photos tonight.
