This was a VERY different ceremony from the one Monday night! We started off with a family reception over at Shadelands. Here's Jo with her best friends. Sadly, they'll be at different schools next year. Got their principal in this one:
There was a group photo out front... again, I'll share that when I get a good copy. I was talking when they were taking it and missed it. Bad mom! Then we went over to the church. (She graduated from our church's classical Christian middle school for those of you who didn't know.)
We were thinking that with only 31 students this ceremony would be much shorter than Lauren's. Hah!!! They did a history of the class (this is the first class that has gone all the way through K-8 together), our pastor spoke, then their teacher gave a very nice talk about each and every student along with a slide show! Oh, also each student went to their parents and read a thank you letter that they had written. All this only took about 2 1/2 hours! Then we had another reception for everyone with cake & punch.
I worked longer today since Lisa & I took time off for graduation. There was a lot of catching up to do. Still didn't get it all done so I may be working late tomorrow, too. Oh, Margie flew back to Texas this morning -- her plane left at 6:30 am. (Hint, never let Glenn buy your plane ticket. He goes for the cheapest price, not the best times. lol...)

I think we are returning home on that 6:30 am flight also!
Congrautlations, Jordann!
I remember my 8th grade graduation... I wore my bridesmaid's dress from your wedding, Sissy! Andy's graduation had a slideshow that was way too long, too.
What a sweet picture of you and Jordann! Wow, another 4 years of high school fun for you! Ha, more to enjoy! And 2 1/2 hours is LONG for a middle school graduation, isn't it???? :) I'm sure you enjoyed it all.
