In Which I Spend All My Money at an Antique Sale

I really didn't mean to spend so much...  I guess people say that all the time.  I've gone before and only found a couple of little things but this time I spent all the cash I had & borrowed $15 from Jo in about 1 1/2 hours!  Maybe because Jo went with me, maybe because I had my new antique booth in mind, or maybe because we went at 8:00 instead of later in the day?  That was a good time to go btw, it was getting hot already by the time we left.  Didn't find a pocket watch but did get an old pedometer for $3.00.
More ladies watches for my necklaces.
A few old photos.  I LOVE old photos, even if I don't know who they are.  Would have bought more but ran out of money.  :-)
I was almost out of rhinestones so had to restock.
I can't believe the things that some women used to wear (or STILL wear) hanging from their ears!  These are all going to be repurposed.  And you see Jo's cameo in the background.  We found beautiful ones for $20 - $195.  This one she bought for $3.00.  And you can see a little of the googly-eyed owl pendant.
And here's her big deal... TWO of these frames for $10!  Wait 'til you see what she's doing with her newly painted room!  Today's her last day of school so she can start working on it now.
So, leave me a comment & let me know which of our finds you like the best or if you had any great finds yourself.  Leave me a link & I'll come see yours, too!

The title of this post is pretty much the story of my life! Money very well spent, especially on those clip-on earrings. I love buying stuff like that, and then throwing it in my big "bling jar"!

It wouldn't do well for us to shop together as we would have to wrestle for some of the same things! I have a room full of these items and just need to get the time to create! Been actually thinking of renting a place so I can work away from the house...does anyone else have a problem with getting things done at home in the area of crafts? It seems once I come downstairs for something, often I don't get back up there....thanks, debbie
