NOTE: The link to the prayer project was wrong earlier but I've fixed it now. Sorry!
I think I mentioned this project to some of you and that I didn't know if I would have time to do it or not. I decided that praying for my children is still important enough that I need to make the time to do this and encourage others to do it, too. Like my other projects I'm going to keep it simple and not worry about how it looks to others. You can read more about the project here. Every couple of weeks this blog is going to post a Scripture you can use to pray for your children. Each mom's project is a little different -- I saw some that looked like scrapbooks, one that was on a rolodex, homemade books, giant deck of cards, etc. I'm making mine out of regular Poker size cards on a ring so I can carry it in my purse or the front pocket of my Bible cover.Ummmmm... I noticed after I uploaded the photos that I wrote Lev. 2:19. The verse is actually Lamentations 2:19. Can I blame that on the cold meds?
Can I encourage all the moms that read this blog to join me in this project? Even if you just write the verses on an index card. Anything that would remind you to pray. OK -- keep me accountable to this. If you don't see a new card for a few weeks ask me where it is.
I've also been given a blog award - the Proximidade award!!! Here's what the awarders had to say, "This blog invests in the PROXIMITY in space, time and relationships. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that even more friendships are propagated." That's the thing I like the most about blogging -- it keeps me in contact with family & friends, and helps make new friends!
