I like having birthdays in the fall. It's fun to decorate and we always have fun things to do - pumpkin patch, apple orchards, hayrides (not in CA), etc. I took Jo & her friends to the pumpkin patch to start out the party. I think the bean pools were their favorite. I'm still finding beans around the house.

Scary train ride:

Then we went by Blockbuster on the way home. I made enchiladas, we lit the candles on the cupcakes, sang, called L, Angie & Elizabeth came by, Jo opened presents. I went to bed around midnight. The girls stayed up all night long and watched 9 Disney movies!
Jo told me this morning she had plenty of sugar to keep her awake so I told her we'd go shopping as soon as she cleaned up. I went upstairs to do some laundry & cleaning. When I came back down she was out on the couch. 6 hours later we did our shopping. ;-) Had to buy some yarn to finish a project & parts of Halloween costumes.
