I was thinking about this on the way to work yesterday. I think I have a great commute. It's only 7 miles and I live in a suburb of 123,000+ people and surrounded by other suburbs. Yet I have some great scenery on my way to school/work and we often see wildlife -- hawks, coyotes, mice, turkeys, skunks, racoons, deer. (Although usually those last three are dead on the side of the road!) It's much more enjoyable to battle the traffic if you can look at God's amazing creation on the way!

I can't take credit for the photography today. The first one is by a friend of mine who used to be a professional photographer and has a REALLY good camera. I can't remember where I got the other two. I've used them as wallpaper on my computer.
Don't forget to be working on your cookie recipes and photographing them for the virtual cookie exchange next week. I took lots of photos this weekend and will be sharing many of our prize-winning cookie secrets!

Is that fog in the valley below Mt. Diablo?
This time of year I miss driving in the hills around Tuscola. Whether it was real fall color or snow dusting the terrain. Spring was good too.
