More Musical Finds from Our Saturday Shopping Trip

We bought some small items Saturday, too. Four "Record Albums" that hold 45s. I thought these would be fun to alter for our musical family. Oh, and one silver spoon.

Isn't this a funny-looking CD? :-) There were a few records in the books. I'm going to pull out Lauren's record player later today and see how these play. Several of them are songs from South Pacific. We just watched that Saturday!

Next find... a stack of old music books. I was wanting some old music to make Christmas ornaments for our choir. But I love looking at these so much. I don't know if I can tear pages out of them! Lauren played a few of the tunes.

See "The Progressive Music Series - Book One" on the right? It's in the worst condition. Maybe 'cause it's a children's book. Maybe I'll use the pages from it first. I wanted to share one of the songs with you. This is the first song in the book:

Does this sound familiar to anyone else?
