I think I have a new favorite Etsy shop (besides my own and my sister's!) Kathi Robinaugh has a shop called Out on a Whim. LOVE her stuff. They're all good examples of ways to use vintage papers like I have in my vintage paper packs. She also has a blog that I've added to my list on the right side of the page.
I think the Sisters altered book is my favorite of everything I've seen in her shop. And the funny thing is I've used that same photo in one of my altered books. I don't think I've blogged it. I'll check and post photos later if I haven't. Hers is on an old book cover and uses vintage text and an aged tag.
I also love the tags she made. See how she used so many layers. Vintage text is great for that. Hey, I think I've used one of those specialty yarns, too!
I added a few patriotic/July 4th items to my Etsy shop tonight, too.
Hey, lookin' forward to doing some antiquing & thrifting in Texas next week... anyone want to go? :-)
