I seem to remember Great making pot holders that were similar to this. As I was going through some of her yarn that I brought back after Christmas I found one that had been started. I searched the web to find a pattern and this looked very similar. Lynne, I did get your order for a chocolate doughnut with pink icing! Does this mean you're going to start sewing? :-)

I have a crochet washrag that Grandmama made. It's starting to come undone, so I don't use it any more. But I tell you - that sucker could scrub a pot!!!
Are your counter tops white, or what is your white background for your photos?
Oh I love these. My Aunt Mattie used to make these exact hot pads. Ahhhhh...brings back memories. Lovely crocheting I might add :)
