As you know, Lauren will be in a very primative environment this summer. She decided that if she has to was her hair in a bucket that it needs to be shorter. Then she decided to donate her hair for cancer patients, so... they had to have 10 inches of hair to do that. Her hair ended up a little shorter than she was planning but she likes it.

BEAUTIFUL!!! (She'd look pretty either way, though.) I'm sure it will be a lot easier to care for - and a lot cooler while she's working! And just think how much more confident some cancer patient will feel wearing Lauren's hair! : ) Give hugs from us!
When I showed the pictures to Andy his first comment was "She looks like Aunt Sissy from behind!". We like it!
Before I even read the other comments, my thought was the same!! Looks just like mom from the back!! I know it's scary to cut it all off sometimes, but if it makes taking care of it easier, it's worth it. Looks like she likes it, too! I won't say she looks older! Audrey just got hers cut off and I thought the same of hers! Moms don't like to hear things like that!
