New Year's Resolutions 2010

You may remember that last year I had New Year's Anti-Resolutions. And I am proud to say that I kept every one of them. The year before I only had one resolution... to eat chocolate every day. I did pretty good on that one, too. This year I don't have any official resolutions. Although Jordann did make one for our whole family: "No more soda". It's written on the chalkboard door in the kitchen to remind us. I'm doing good on that one so far. 4 days -- not bad! Although I'm not including Hansen's sodas. Since Trader Joe's sells them I figure they're not too bad for me.

There are a few other things that I'm going to try to do, but I'm not calling them resolutions. I'll be sharing them with you the next few days.

Our whole church is being encouraged to read the Bible through in two years. I've done it in a year 3 different times before. Other times I've tried, but I get distracted studying different things and didn't make it. I'm hoping the two-year plan will help with that. We also got the devotion book that goes along with it & Glenn's going to read it to me each night. If you'd like to join us you can print off the reading plan here.

BTW, the cute photo at the top of this post is my nephew wearing his favorite hat... one I made for him (even though it's HUGE).
