Help for Haiti

Money Saving Mom is one of my sister's favorite websites. She has generously offered to donate $10 to Compassion International for every person who blogs about how they're helping Haiti and leaves a link on her blog post. Compassion International is very dear to us. We've been supporting a girl in India that Lauren picked when she was little. They're about the same age. Several years later we picked another child, a little boy in Mexico. It's been a wonderful experience to be able to actually communicate with the children that we're supporting. CI was already in Haiti and had a staff member die today from internal injuries sustained in the earthquake. Their contractor is also still missing. They're asking for prayer because their staff is getting discouraged. You can read more about their work in Haiti on their blog. We made a donation directly to CI on their website.
