30 Days of Thanksgiving: Day Fifteen, the Harvest, Going to Worship, a Neighbor that Loves to Cook

Come, ye thankful people come,
Raise the song of Harvest home!
All is safely gathered in,
Ere the winter storms begin;
God, our Maker, doth provide
For our wants to be supplied;
Come to God's own temple, come;
Raise the song of Harvest home!
My lovely neighbor made another dessert for us. No beans this time. lol... This one tasted like coconut milk. I searched Google to see what I could find about Thai desserts. I think these are taro balls. She's still working on her English so I'm not sure exactly what I'm eating when she brings things over! The dessert is warm, creamy, & very sweet. The balls are like very soft pasta. A little chewy. Very pretty how they all sink down to the bottom.
Glenn still didn't eat it....

It is good to have been in the house of the LORD.
The pasta "thingys" look like jelly beans.

Well, if that just isn't the most interesting dish I've ever seen. Lucky you to have such a lovely neighbor. That sure is a blessing, isn't it?

Your neighbor certainly has the gift of reaching out! Such thoughtfulness-even if its a little unusual to us! Puts me to shame! May I learn and remember from her example!
Have a wonderful day & blessings from the cabin!
