OK, some of you asked when I updated my status on facebook to say that I was punching holes in things today. Here's the story behind it. I've been saving orange juice lids for a while, remembering how we made things out of them when we were little. I had these great ideas for Christmas ornaments. I pulled them out Tuesday but couldn't find anything to make a hole in them. So I asked Angie (who has a lot of scrapbooking toys) if she had a Crop-A-Dile. She said no but she had seen them in the clearance section at Wal-Mart! So she went & bought me one. Since Glenn & Jo went into the city today I stayed home & looked for things to punch holes in. I found a lot but will only share one with you right now... it's a little dark to take good photos.
These are the orange juice lids that I've been saving! It was soooooo much cooler today that I pulled out my autumn papers & ribbons to make a Thanksgiving themed photo ring book.
My Crop-a-Dile came with all these eyelets, too. It was fun!!!
My problem now is that I used up all my lids & don't have any to make ornaments with. Does anyone want to save their lids for me?

cute idea! I wonder if it would work with mason jar lids instead (for folks who aren't patient enough to save lids.
I love these tags! Especially the one with the verse on it! Perfect reminder for a Sunday.
OH MY GOSH!! I LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!! (especially the one with my kids on it!) And the really funny thing is... I've been saving OJ lids, too!! hahahaha...
Such a cute idea, plus you're going to love your crop-a-dile!
Too cool. Would it work if you used cans that you opened w/one of those can openers that makes safe-edge lids? Just wondering.
I have no idea what a crop-o-dile is, but those are sooo cute!
Ann I was at the grocery store and saw the biscuits that you bake...I think they have metal lids. I want to start saving lids too! What a great idea. Angie
What a good idea for picture ornaments.
Hey mom, I have a bunch of OJ lids. I'll keep saving and mail them to you.
Love, Lauren
