Magnets!

Here's the Sweet Bella project for today. A silver tray that becomes a magnetic bulletin board. Teresa also posted photos of some magnets made from vintage earrings. I made some last year (probably longer ago than that now!) with some of my grandmother's earrings and buttons. Here's one:

The inside of my old icebox is metal and I've been hanging photos, invitations, etc. with them.

Here's a box with more of her goodies. There's another box with broken necklaces. I keep thinking that the beads from those necklaces would make some great earrings.

Does anyone else remember Great calling her earrings "earscrews"? Well, there were some in this box that really ARE screws! Look closely at the backs.

Earscrews were for unpierced ears. They clamped onto the ear lobe like a vise.
