Japantown, SF, CA

Here's what we did on Presidents' Day. Here we are walking up to the BART station:

Waiting for the train:
Ate lunch in the plaza. The girls wanted to feed the pigeons but we made them wait 'til we finished eating.


Lauren loves graffiti:






I think this was called the Peace Plaza. It was a beautiful day, just right for a picnic.




Love the look on Lauren's face! We did a little shopping. I bought some origami papers and found some crochet books in the bookstore (in Japanese!). Then Jo & I sat in Borders while Glenn, Lauren, & Elizabeth (our extra daughter for the day) went to an art exhibit. After they told me about it I wish I'd gone. It was art made out of junk mail!
