It's raining!!! and it has been all day. My birdbath is full of water and my house is a complete mess inside. Jo had the day off school so she and Glenn went to Home Depot and bought supplies. They're just now finishing up. You know how much she enjoys art & clay -- she's having a ball with the sheetrock.
Here's the "before" picture of the kitchen! I'm not sure how long ago it was taken. Jordann took it for her photography class when she was playing with b&w. The kitchen won't be done for a LONG time. There are a lot of projects on our to do list. But the plumbing problem is taken care of and the holes in the wall and ceiling are gone!
I am asking for a microwave for my birthday. I'd love to have one that goes over the stove. The one that came with the house is HUGE and takes up way too much space on the counter.
Gotta go... going to Home Depot again.

Microwave above the stove would save lots of counter space!! Didn't know you were planning a kitchen remake.
We really enjoyed our trip to CA from TX - except for that surprise bump in the sky road. Seems to always be such a short time with you all.

I was wondering if y'all had to go to Home Depot as many times as we go to Lowe's during a project! One time when Alan was working on the plumbing in our house in Tuscola, he just took his cell phone with him under the house & I went to Home Depot & waited in the plumbing section for his calls of what he was going to need!
