Catching Up...

Hey, SE & Lynne, does this tray look familiar? I bought it on our trip to Goodwill while we were down there -- 75c! I've used it for moving my craft projects around and found that it's great for displaying the magnets I made. This little cutie already sold. She was my favorite.

Ladies retreat was a lot of fun this weekend. We (about 130 ladies) went down to Mount Hermon on Friday afternoon. Our speaker was Kathy Saint Drown. Our theme was "Radical Transformation." Great theme, great speaker, great craft, even great food! We hiked around the Sequoias, drank lattes in front of the fireplaces, talked long after the lights went out, laughed 'til our sides hurt, and shopped for shepherd costume fabric on the way home. Saturday afternoon we also rolled bandages for a hospital in Africa. I've always heard about that and wanted to try it. Hard to believe somewhere in the world they don't have Band-Aids and still use fabric for bandages!

I'll leave you with another pumpkin photo:

OH! They're magnets! I've been wondering what you'd do with a spoon like that... : )
