Good morning, and welcome to part of the Artful Blogger Party hosted by ArtsyMomma! I just read the magazine yesterday and it's filled with beautiful artwork and lots of links to visit. Go get a copy now if you haven't already. I found it at Barnes & Noble. (And had a Raspberry Chocolate Frappacino while I read it. Yum!!!)
So, here are a few of the things we've been making this week. The first is a back-to-school album made with some great Dolch word bingo cards I found at my favorite thrift shop last week. I punched holes in one side of six cards, used book rings (from good ole' Wal-Mart), a Foof-a-La Hall Pass paper pack, text & illustrations from a 1950s textbook, and some vintage photo images.
The next project is a shipping tag book. I aged the tags with some leftover coffee one morning, punched two holes on the straight side of each, and decorated all the pages inside. Some papers are really vintage, others are Foof-a-La (my current favorite papers), reproduction photos, stickers, and whatever else I had laying around. I added an extra long ribbon on the first and last tag so they could be tied to close.
One thing I did differently on this one was to include some smaller blank tags between each large tag for journaling.
I may list these in my Etsy shop... haven't decided yet. I have some other things to list first. I have a few altered albums in my Ebay store right now. None have sold there. If this is your first visit to my blog, don't forget to leave a post on my last entry to sign up for the A is for Apron Giveaway!

ps... yes i`m loving the party !
Great projects, and I love the wings. Thanks for being artful.
So fun! I love the wings...
I like both of these books. And the little girl with wings is adorable. I had a hard time attaching wings to people in the beginning too, but now I do it all the time. Your little tag book gave me an idea for using my vintage wallpaper that I have been hanging on to. Thanks for stopping by my blog and sharing!
gI love your artwork! I bought that same Foof-a-La Hall pass kit to use on a paper-bag-scrapbook for my neice, who will be starting her first year teaching in just a couple weeks! Thanks for sharing all your pictures, very inspirational! I hope you are able to sell some, too!
Another item on my shopping list! I think I'll use your idea to make a birthday calendar.
love your projects, wasn't this the funnest day ever?? hugs
Love your artwork. I love thrift stores as well, it's so fun to find cool, old things and incorporate them into art!
